    1. Omit a leader in your recognitions—especially if they or family is still alive
    2. Leave only 4 months’ time for your planning
    3. Fail to have a contingency plan for an outdoor celebration
    4. Fail to appreciate the inspiration that past history and past leaders bring to an anniversary commemoration
    5. Ignore the opportunity to communicate your accomplishments and acknowledge your people

USF Hosts Virtual Dedication Ceremony for Centennial Art: “The Perfect History Lesson”

University of St. Francis Centennial CollageJune 4, 2020, Joliet, Ill. – The University of St. Francis (USF) has added several visual reminders to commemorate its 100th Anniversary, which is being celebrated throughout 2020. The centerpiece of these visual reminders is a one-of-a-kind commemorative work of art created by artist Lawrence Romorini from One Of A Kind Art Studio in Silver Spring, MD, that is displayed in Tower Hall, adjacent to a dedication wall in honor of the university’s founding Sister Sponsors – the Sisters of Saint Francis of Mary Immaculate.

Texas Is A One Of A Kind State!

Texas REALTORS®, an organization dedicated to advocacy for realtors and private property rights in Texas, highlighted their 100th anniversary at their February Winter Meeting in Austin by unveiling One Of A Kind 3-dimensional commemorative art created by Lawrence Romorini. The art, which measures 59” x 59” x 4”, reflects the profession’s complexity and progression since the founding in 1920.

The structure for Texas REALTORS’® artwork is in the shape of Texas, accented in gold-leaf, with the logo prominently featured. A Lone Star Flag design behind honors 100 years of Presidents and the enduring Texas REALTORS® Code of Ethics. Objects featured in the art include a replica President’s Trophy, “The State of Texas” collector’s pen, bluebonnet flowers, armadillo, cotton plant, various Texas REALTORS® pins, and much more.
