Turning Over a New LEAF:
Retirement Art for an Industry Icon
LEAF Commercial Capital, Inc. honored their retiring Cofounder, Chairman, and CEO with One Of A Kind retirement art reflecting his significant impact to the equipment finance industry. With a distinguished career spanning over 40 years, the honoree built LEAF into a leading independent finance brand. Artist Lawrence Romorini captured his career’s journey, accomplishments, and awards in 3-dimensional art.
The story begins above the LEAF logo, created in acrylic, and flows counterclockwise with a collection of awards in the center. The 2021 Monitor Veteran Icon Award serves as a focal point. Additional awards highlight his work with the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association, milestones achieved with LEAF, and support for the Boy Scouts of America.
A white background allows the glossy LEAF green inner borders to pop, creating clean lines and a contemporary design. A modern touch for this industry innovator! A mahogany frame with gold stripe completes the art. A dedication, rich in meaning, is photoengraved at the base.
The personalized shadowbox, measuring approx. 23” x 23” x 3”, captures his career through miniature photos, publications, and 3D objects. The model of an aerial lift, among equipment that LEAF finances, adds interest and dimension. Special features include a nod to his alma mater and a golf vignette with photos, 3D golf clubs, and his golf ball collection.
Additional 3D items include a Dallas Cowboys helmet, Boy Scouts gold pin, and Auburn pin.
Headquartered in Philadelphia, LEAF ensures equipment is affordable for companies and organizations of all sizes across the U.S. With 275,000 customers and counting, LEAF’s reach continues to grow. Now supported by one of the nation’s largest financial institutions, M&T Bank, LEAF has laid the groundwork for sustained success. In the honoree’s own words, “It has been my incredible good fortune to lead such an amazing group of people as we’ve worked shoulder-to-shoulder to make LEAF what it is today and position it for all it will be in the years to come.”
An artistic legacy for an industry legacy.
