Diving Deeper: A Retirement Tribute for an Inspiring Founder
One Of A Kind was inspired to dive into the story of VideoRay, an industry leader specializing in underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). The story unfolds below the water line with a vibrant blue ocean background and company products rendered in 3D miniature. The company logo, elevated on acrylic, fills the sky. A black frame with a stripe in the brand’s yellow surrounds the art.
Designed to honor the retiring Founder and Executive Chairman, the 3-dimensional art follows the company’s impressive growth, client success stories, and philanthropic efforts. The inner borders display key customer logos and a timeline.
Established in 1999, VideoRay has grown tremendously from its roots in recreational diving and treasure hunting to supporting national defense efforts, law enforcement, and first responders. Its critical missions include underwater mines disposal, infrastructure inspection, and search and rescue.
The newest ROV, Mission Specialist Ally, released in 2024, recently supported recovery efforts after the Key Bridge collapse in Baltimore. VideoRay ROVs, with their compact size, power, and maneuverability, are known to expertly navigate difficult environments, providing a safe alternative to divers in debris-filled waters.
The company has a heart for volunteering, led by the retiring Founder. VideoRay has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2013. Our recipient also supports Colebrookdale Railroad (check out the model train!) and renovation projects in Pottstown, PA, home to VideoRay Headquarters.
Discover several fun 3D items inside the shadowbox including challenge coins, hot air balloon and parachute pins, a treasure chest, sea creatures, and a display tank replica from VideoRay’s early days.
As the company, recently acquired by BlueHalo, looks toward the future, the horizon is boundless and bright.
