With the 30th Anniversary of the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial on May 19, we think again of “Remembrance”, the 3-dimensional artwork that Lawrence created 21 years ago to commemorate The Names Project and help people living with AIDS. It was the last time the AIDS Quilt was displayed on the Washington, DC mall in its entirety. (more…)

With June weddings around the corner, we reflect on our wonderful collaborations with Photographer Clay Blackmore. Working with Clay on his first collage, which commemorated his road from Texas to D.C. and his journey from protégé of the legendary Monte Zucker to one of the most sought-after photographers in the world, Lawrence and I came to appreciate the exquisite artistry of his work—including amazing wedding photography.
We were reminded yet again how the vision and legacy of Newseum/USA TODAY Founder Al Neuharth live on with a great program at the Newseum last evening featuring renowned veteran journalists Tom Brokaw and Nick Clooney. (more…)
