Artist Lawrence Romorini created this 3-dimensional art to honor Lake Forest Hospital’s President for his 30 years of leadership upon his retirement. The structure features ionic columns that suggest the Lake Forest Hospital entrance. On the steps appears a timeline highlighting Lake Forests’ major milestones during the President’s tenure, built upon the first step: Lake Forest Hospital Values.

Photos, news articles and actual memorabilia chronicle the President’s career and favorite memories. The intricate weaving of actual 3-dimensional items, such as a miniature drum, model helicopter, stethoscope and eyeglasses, offers a fascinating texture and authenticity.

A dedication plaque appears on an actual hospital brick at the top of the stairs.
